We would like to thank the few appreciative and generous people who have made donations that have carried the load for the group. These folks have been happy to remain anonymous and enjoy the dance that their donations provide. But we do need to mention how this dance should be funded. We are all in this together. We will never charge at the door to make this dance always available and free to those having hard times at various points in their lives. We do have to pay for the hall, the music, the equipment, lights, coffee, cups, 3 different insurances, advertising, website, decorations and incidentals all needed to make this event happen each month.
With the generosity of a few it highlights the fact that many attendees don't share in the finances and simply reap the benefits. We need others to step up and do their part to support the items that they enjoy using every month at this great family friendly event. And when our children think back to a time when they had great fun as a family, we hope this regular event will always have a great place in their memories.
Let's make sure that by your financial participation we keep this dance available for our families and others. Let's lift the load from the few that have been carrying us for so long now.
Thanks to all of you from the TVCWDA, Randy and Linda
Comment from Joan Lundahl following the May 2014 workshop and dances: Your comments warmed the cockles of my heart Randy. Dancing with you and all the wonderful folks in Boise reminded me of why I started to country dance in the first place. It began in 1995 learning line dances, mixers and pattern dances at local dance halls and bars. The Boise dance community is fortunate to have such a beautiful and expansive floor at the Square Dance Hall and a DJ/ Instructor like you to get dancers of all ages involved and engaged and to keep the party going! Thanks to you and Linda Rogers for bringing us to Boise!!
Comments about the June 8th dance:
Another great night with friends. Just got home and it's about 1:30. So nice to have such a large group, even in June. I Had such a good time with all of the dances. Nice to have several fun west coasts and lots of 2 steps. Thanks to all of you. You are the ones that make this dance the biggest and best every month. Randy

Thank you so much for all the work you put into the TVCWDA dance! The dance last night was such a fun experience and my husband and I are so excited to go back. The environment of families out there dancing together is so special and we really appreciate you putting it all together.
Thank you!
Whitney
We sure enjoyed the dance last night. Will be doing that again! Joy & Ed
The Treasure Valley Country Western Dance Association serving the Boise, Idaho area and beyond is already gearing up for our next FREE COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE with a difference...the only country dance in the Boise Valley that welcomes all ages and will play requested dance music. Though based on country music we will have a variety of music, so dancers of all types are encouraged to come dance with us. We will even have a few pop songs for the children. We will even teach a mixer or two and a quick line dance.
As president of the TVCWDA, I have personally acquired the dance hall for your dancing enjoyment, so donations will be gladly accepted to cover expenses.
There may be a teaching moment, a dance lesson and a dance demonstration, so pull on your boots and chaps and join us at the
